About Callum

Growing up

Callum George Myles always wanted to be an actor or performer from the moment he stepped onto the stage when he was just 11 years old when he got the starring role in his school play 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. Ever since then he began to have a passion for acting.

Education

He attended Marriotts school in stevenage and studied acting there. where in year 10 and 11 received a BTEC LEVEL 1 distinction * and received a BTEC LEVEL 2  distinction in drama. He has recently completed his degree course at university of the creative arts in Farnham, Surrey. During his time at university he has worked on stage shows such as ' The Flick' by Annie Baker, 'The Seagull' by Anton Chekhov and 'Twelfth Night' by William Shakespeare. His film work includes a silent film he created called 'What would U do?' and a social realism film called 'Closeted'.  The social realism piece felt very close to his heart as his piece was set in the 1980s where  the HIV/AIDS crisis was happening at that time. he identifies as a gay man and he had the privilege to interview and base the film on a gay man who was out and proud in the 1980s.

Future

Callum loves TV shows like Eastenders and Waterloo Road and hopes to one day appear on these shows. His main focus in the future is on TV and film work however he is keen on also doing stage work as well.
